These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all diving, snorkeling, training, equipment rental, and related services provided by Bali Dive Trek (“the Dive Center,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By making a booking or participating in any activity, you (“the Client,” “you”) agree to these Terms.
- Eligibility & Medical Fitness
- You confirm that you are medically, physically, and mentally fit to participate in scuba diving, snorkeling, freediving, or related activities.
- All participants must complete and sign a medical questionnaire, assumption of risk, and liability release before participation.
- If any medical condition is disclosed, written medical clearance from a licensed physician may be required.
- Bali Dive Trek reserves the right to refuse participation to any person deemed unfit or unsafe.
- Certification & Experience
- Certified divers must present a valid certification card from a recognized training agency.
- Proof of recent diving experience may be required.
- A refresher or check dive may be required if you have not dived within the last 6–12 months.
- Safety Rules & Conduct
- All participants must strictly follow:
- Dive briefings and instructions from instructors or dive guides
- International and local diving standards
- Boat and site safety regulations
- Alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances before diving are strictly prohibited.
- Unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in immediate termination of activities without refund.
- All participants must strictly follow:
- Assumption of Risk
- You acknowledge that diving and water-related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Decompression sickness
- Barotrauma
- Equipment malfunction
- Strong currents, waves, and marine life encounters
- Weather and sea conditions
- You voluntarily assume all risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen.

- Liability Release & Indemnity
- To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, you release and hold harmless Bali Dive Trek, its owners, directors, employees, instructors, divemasters, boat crew, and affiliates from any liability for injury, illness, death, loss, or damage.
- You agree to indemnify Bali Dive Trek against any claims resulting from your negligence, misconduct, or violation of these Terms.
- Equipment Use & Responsibility
- Rental equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and according to instructions.
- You are responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to rented equipment caused by misuse or negligence.
- Repair or replacement costs may be charged accordingly.
- Booking, Payments & Cancellations
- A deposit of 30% is required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance must be paid in full upon arrival.
- Cancellation policy:
- More than 30 days before activity: full refund
- Less than 30 days before activity: no refund
- No-shows: no refund
- Bali Dive Trek reserves the right to cancel or reschedule activities due to weather, safety, or operational reasons. Refunds or rescheduling will be offered at our discretion.
- All activities are subject to 10% government tax “PNG Indonesia tax”
- Weather & Sea Conditions
- All activities are subject to weather and sea conditions.
- Decisions regarding safety-related cancellations are final and made in the best interest of participants.
- Photography & Media
- You grant Bali Dive Trek permission to use photographs or videos taken during activities for marketing, promotional, and training purposes.
- If you do not consent, you must inform us in writing before the activity begins.
- Insurance
- Bali Dive Trek strongly recommends that all divers have:
- Dive accident insurance
- Travel insurance
- Bali Dive Trek is not responsible for medical treatment, evacuation, or related costs.
- Bali Dive Trek strongly recommends that all divers have:
- Minors
- Participants under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- Minimum age requirements follow training agency standards and Indonesian regulations.
- Environmental Responsibility
- Participants must respect marine life and coral reefs.
- Touching, feeding, harassing, or collecting marine life is strictly prohibited.
- Environmental damage caused by negligence may result in penalties or exclusion from further activities.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Indonesian courts.
